Iran to grant five-year residency permit to foreign investors
Members of Iran's cabinet approved the five-year visa system for foreign nationals who want to invest in this country.
Iranian cabinet members on Saturday approved the 5-year visa system for foreign nationals who want to invest in the country.
The government ministers took the decision in the cabinet session to encourage foreign investments in Iran and attract foreign funds, Iran Press reported.
According to the approved by-law, the minimum amount required to grant investment residency permit for nationals of foreign countries who have been recognized by the Islamic Republic of Iran is 250 thousand Euros.
It should be noted that the investment includes dollar or its equivalent in other currencies accepted by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
Investing in bank and bones and investing in housing section which is in accordance with the provisions of this by-law and the laws and regulations of the country are among the types of deposits that have been named in this by-law.
