"U.S Sanctions undoubtedly affect the providing of Pharmaceutical Ingredients but there are ways to bypass the sanctions in this area, such as other sectors but it is impossible to express the details," Saeed Namaki, Iran health minister said in interview with ILNA.

He added that we will not have a drug shortage using available capacities and the price of imported medicines does not change.

The Iranian health minister said that the country is in a good condition in terms of meeting medical needs despite the sanctions.

The UN’s international court of justice, on October 03, reprimanded the US over its re-imposition of sanctions on Iran and ordered Washington to lift restrictive measures linked to humanitarian trade, food, medicine and civil aviation.
