Iran’s inflation hits 15.9% in Iran
During 12 Iranian months before October 22, 2018, inflation in Iran increased compared to the same period before October 22, 2017.
According to the report of Iran’s Central Bank, the inflation reached 15.9 percent in the last month of the reported period.
Last month, prices for goods and services in Iran's urban areas increased by 4.6 percent compared to the month before.
The price index increased by 36.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Amidst a slight improvement in the currency market's stability, the inflation rate, which was rising in the first six months of the year, dropped last month.
