Labor Union activist appointing to workers demands and concerns, called for meeting them.

Issuing an open letter and addressing Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare Minister, "Hassan Habibi", Secretary General of Islamic Labor Coordination Council in Tehran Province, pointing to labor union's ignored concerns and appeals, called for undertaking efforts in meeting their demands.

According to the letter, the Labor Act amendments is an indication of regarding the workers as second-class citizens. Habibi called for an immediate reclaim of the bills from the Parliament and told that reforming labor act should be directed toward more supporting workers.

The top worker activists also sought urgent freeze in the development of free trade and industrial zones and told that the measures would let numerous workers out of constitutional and labor act supports.

The letter, continued to call for entitlement and authorization of certificates for permanent employment of workers with permanent jobs. It also pointed out that Social Security Organization’s assets should not be infringed and encroached upon.

At the end, Habibi in his open letter, called for putting an end on judicial and security confrontations with worker union activities and accrediting their independence in forming union organizations.
