Pension Funds are now society's "White-Flagged" organizations; Labor Minister

Calling insurance and pension funds, protected and "white-flagged" organizations which maintain their society’s safety, "Ali Rabiei", Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare Minister in a New Year visit to the country’s Pension Fund staffs told that in former goverment such organizations have become places for filing against people.

"Other Labor Ministry affiliates also have witnessed change in their discourse and function. The State Welfare Organization of Iran which was once a doctor-based organization has now become a community-based association" Rabiei asserted.

Pointing to Pension Fund’s achievements in the past 3 years, top labor official told that the ministry should define and establish new measures and plans for the funds.

"Gradual and step by step raise in pensioners income in the last year, was one of its noticeable accomplishment which should be continued. Services like this, particularly in the social areas should improve and develop" he indicated.   

Accentuating the significance of women's sentility and calling it more distressing and demanding than men’s, he blamed the society for not paying enough attention to its elder members and invited Iranians to further protect each other at individual and community levels.
