Remaining phases of South Pars project to finish in 1397; Zangeneh
Iran's Oil Minister stressed that phases 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21 have been completed and the projects’ opening awaits the president’s presence
“Bijan Namdar Zangene”, Iran’s Oil Minister in an interview with ILNA political correspondent answering questions regarding the necessary measure to be taken for finishing remaining phases of South Pars Gas Field Development Project, announced that phases 17, 18, 19, 20 & 21 have been completed and the projects’ opening awaits the president’s presence.
“However, it’s not clear if before the end of the year, these phases would get operational. The rest of the projects that consist of 6 phases, include phases 22, 23 & 24. Except for the phase 11, half of the phase 13 and 14 project will be done in year 1396 and the other half of it will be completed in 1397" Zangeneh emphasized.
Concerning when oil stock exchange began working, the top oil official told that oil stock exchange (Iranian Oil Bourse, commonly known as Iran Crude Oil Exchange) is currently active and what’s important is to boost oil and petrochemical products shares' offering to them, otherwise, Iranian Oil Exchange is currently active and the shares should be increased.
