Iran unveiled first all Iranian-made car ‘Quick’
All Iranian-made car ‘Quick’ has been unveiled by the country's leading automaker Saipa Group.
Designed by the Saipa research center, Quick was unveiled on Monday at a ceremony attended by Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, Saipa group President Mehdi Jamali and Minister of Industry and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.
With an engine displacement of 1503 cc, the car weighs 1063 kilograms and its maximum power stands at 87 horse power.
Quick is classified as having the Euro-4 emission standards while the standard could be increased to the Euro-5 stage.
The new car developed by Saipa Group comes with both an automatic and/or a manual gearbox.
Quick has been built using the expanded platform of X200 already employed for developing car series like Tiba and Saina.
Quick’s steering system in automatic gearbox types is electric while in the manual gear box types it is hydraulic.
