French automakers determine to cooperation with their Iranian counterparts
French Ambassador to Iran Francois Senemaud said on Friday that his country’s automakers are determined to have cooperation with their Iranian counterparts.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of a week-long French Educational Workshops in the city of Kashan, central Iran.
Senemaud further noted that Renault is currently engaged in signing a deal with the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) while Peugeot and Citroen have launched very significant investments with the Iranian partners, Iran Khodro and Saipa.
The Renault-IDRO agreement pertains to new generation of automobiles using modern technologies, he said.
The French ambassador further noted that last week, Tehran hosted a big meeting attended by the French automotive companies whose directors came to Iran for talks with their Iranian counterparts.
