Iran-Boeing deal on buying plane finalized
The Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran and US Boeing agreed on a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) after two days of negotiations.
Iran Air announced officially that an agreement for buying air plane has been signed between the Iran Air and Boeing following issuance of the permit by Iran and the US.
Iran Air has started talks with Boeing after implementing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and the issue has been finalized ultimately.
Boeing representatives arrived in Iran for some rounds of talks for leasing planes.
They reached an initial agreement which needed the required permits by Iran and the US to be finalized.
Based on the deal, Iran Air is going to buy a number of Boeing 737, Boeing 300ER and Boeing 900.
