Foreign demand for buying Iran's LPG is on the rise
The international demand for Iran's liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) has increased, Iranian Deputy Petroleum Minister Hamidreza Araqi said.
Iran's LPG is very much qualified compared to similar products produced by rival countries, Araqi said.
Therefore foreign demand for buying Iran's LPG is on the rise, he added.
Referring to Iran's furtherance of foreign trade in the post-sanction era, the official said that following the promotion of maritime ties between Iran and foreign countries, export of Iran's Sulfur and LPG has also experienced a boom.
CEO of Iranian Gas Commercial Company (IGCC) Mohammad-Ali Barati had recently announced that Iran’s LPG export capacity would reach 5 million tons annually in case new phases of South Pars Gas Field were launched.
