Indian PM hopes economic ties with Iran improves

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed the hope that economic cooperation between Tehran and New Delhi would be improved following his visit to Tehran.
“I arrived in Iran, a land with which we have civilization link. We hope that we can boost economic cooperation between the two countries,” he wrote in his Twitter upon arriving in Tehran.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani is also going to visit Iran simultaneously with Modi.
Iran, Afghanistan and India are going to sign an agreement on Chabahar Port.
He is the first Indian prime minister visiting Iran after 14 years.
India and Afghanistan believe that Chabahar Port is the best route for importing and exporting goods.
