Iran doubles export of crude oil: Oil Minister
Iran has doubled production and export of crude oil and its derivatives compared to the period the country was under sanctions, Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh said on Saturday.
Speaking at the Conference on JCPOA and Resistance Economy, Zangeneh noted that the world market has accepted Iran to claim its natural right to guarantee its due share of oil export.
'Now, and following the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action, we are clearly feeling the easement of all the pressure caused by excessive costs we had to shoulder to complete the Oil Ministry projects,' he said.
The oil minister also said that furthering cooperation with the neighboring countries, finalizing the investment cooperation agreements, investment in Liquefied Petroleum Gas as well as development of petrochemical plants are among the priorities of Iran's Petroleum Ministry.
