Iranian ministers arrive in Ankara to boost trade ties
Several members of cabinet arrived in Ankara on Friday afternoon to join President Hassan Rouhani and attend bilateral talks with Turkish government officials.
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi, the co-chairman of Iran-Turkey Joint Economic Commission, accompanying Ministers of Agricultural Jihad, Welfare and Social Security, Justice, Economy and Finance, and Industry, Mines and Trade, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs as well as a number of senior officials arrived in Ankara to finalize negotiations and sign agreements on trade and economic cooperation.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani arrived here on Friday evening to hold bilateral talks with high-ranking Turkish officials, especially his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
President Rouhani was welcomed by Turkish Development Minister Cevdet Yilmaz, Iranian ambassador to Ankara and Iran's embassy staff at Ankara International Airport.
