Grozny, host city for 16th Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission
The 16th Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission will continue in Grozny, Russia, until Tuesday.
Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehadi Safari, who is heading for Russia for the purpose of announcing the news added, "That commission is hosted by the Russian deputy foreign minister and the Russian head of the Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission, and the Iranian head of it is the Iranian petroleum minister.
He added that on the first day of the commission the Iranian and Russian technicians will consult for finalizing the text of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) about miscellaneous issues, including business and commercial, banking, transit, logistical, industrial, cultural, academic, tourism, energy, standards, labor and social welfare, free zones, and… bilateral cooperation.
According to Safari, it is also arranged that during the Joint Commission bilateral cooperation documents will be signed by the two countries officials.
The 15h Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission was held in Tehran and Isfahan in the year 2019, and the 16th Iran-Russia Economic Cooperation Commission is being held in Grozny, Russia, from Saturday, October 29th to Tuesday, November 1st, 2022.
