Iraqi expert outlines three scenarios lying ahead for Iraq
An Iraqi expert has said that many of the key governmental and non-governmental positions in Iraq are held by representatives belonging to the Iraqi Sadrist movement but the movement is seeking more shares in the Iraqi political scene.

The most significant scenario that is likely to take place in the current situation in Iraq is al-Kadhimi remaining in the political structure of Iraq as the prime minister, because the Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis are in harmony with Al-Kadhimi. For this reason, I believe that there is a possibility that he will become the prime minister again, he noted.
He added that the second scenario is that the head of the Iraqi judiciary or al-Kadhimi would lead an interim government, and the third scenario is to hold early elections.
