China’s imports from Iran grows by 26%
China’s imports from Iran increased by 26 percent in the first five months of 2022, with total Iran-China trade reaching 6 billion dollars.
The latest figures published by China’s customs show that trade between Iran and China has increased by 18 percent to 6.472 billion dollars in the first five months of 2022, while the figure was 5.481 billion dollars in the same period in 2021.
China imported 3.192 billion dollars of goods from Iran in that period, showing a 26-percent increase compared to 2.535 billion dollars in the same period in 2021.
Also, China’s exports to Iran increased to 3.28 billion from January to April this year, showing an 11-percent growth compared to 2.95 billion dollars last year.
