Official: Iran non-oil exports hit $8b
The Head of the Iran Customs Administration said on Monday that $8,515,000,000 worth of non-oil products has been exported since the beginning of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21).
Speaking to IRNA, Alireza Moghadasi said some 17m tons of products were exported which had a 1.6% fall in weight and 3.6% growth in value compared with the same period last year.
He added that 5,181,000 tons of goods worth $5,314,000,000 were imported and the figure experienced a 3% fall in weight and a 2.4% rise in value.
There are 144 customs in the Iranian cities and borders, of which 110 are customs for travelers, and the largest volume of foreign trade among these customs is for Shahid Rajaei Port Bandar Abbas Customs, Imam Khomeini Port Customs Mahshahr, Imam Khomeini Airport, Tehran Customs, Khorramshahr Customs, Amirabad Behshahr, Bushehr, Lengeh Port, Anzali Port, and Genaveh.
