Iran begins talks to export gas to Pakistan: Official
The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company has said that it is natural that Iran is looking to develop its market and have a new customer.
"We are definitely doing research, but no definite result has been achieved yet, it is natural that we are looking to develop our market and have a new buyer,” Majid Chegani said about whether Iran has a plan to export gas to Europe.
The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company also told ILNA about Iranian gas exports to Pakistan, "We are starting negotiations in this regard, they are also interested in importing from Iran, but we are still in the beginning of negotiations and no special action has been taken."
He said the remaining amount of Iraq's gas debt to Iran is $1.6, adding, "According to a memorandum, the debts will be paid within a month."
