A member of the Chamber of Commerce of Iran and Russia has announced that Iran is going to experience a 100 percent increase in its trade exchanges with Russia.
Jalil Jalali Far said in an exclusive interview with ILNA that “our trade exchanges with Russia have increased but the exact data aren’t available yet.”
He said that probably Iran is going to experience a 100 percent increase in its trade exchanges with Russia.
He asserted that after the Ukraine war, Iran has witnessed the diversification of exports to Russia, adding that “this diversification is important because about 83 percent of our exports to Russia were agricultural products and food in the past but today different types of products like building materials, chemicals and petrochemicals, and other artifacts and even industrial machinery are exported to Russia.”
Our trade exchanges with Russia have increased 100 percent, and surely it can increase more, he noted.
