Iran can supply 70% of Europe gas

An expert on energy said that in the absence of Russia, Iran will be able to supply 70% of current Europe's energy needs.
Mir Ghasem Momeni said in remarks to ILNA that the EU seeks to use the gas resources of North African countries, Qatar and Iran.
He said with respect to Iran, it depends on the JCPOA, if a deal is reached, Europe will be able to import gas from Iran.
“If the infrastructures are provided, Iran will be able to supply 70% of Europe's current energy needs,” he added.
He stressed that now is the best opportunity for Iran and Europe to sign a long term contract that would last for at least 30 years.
