The Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran underscored that the Eurasia Expo 2021 would be a good opportunity to facilitate free trade negotiations with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Eurasia Expo 2021 hosted by Iran, Hamid Zadboom, Head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, said that the Eurasian Economic Union, with a population of 185 million, was one of Iran's important trading partners.

Zadboom added "Last year (2020), the volume of trade between Iran and Eurasia increased by 80% to $ 3 billion, which in the next 5 years could increase to $ 30 billion."

The First Exclusive Exhibition of Eurasia Expo 2021 kicked off on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Tehran International Exhibition Center.

From 09 to 12 July, companies from Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the Iranian companies take part in the exhibition.

Thirty companies from Russia, Thirty companies from Kyrgyzstan, more than ten companies from Armenia, more than ten companies from Kazakhstan, and companies from Belarus participated in the expo.

The companies participating in the exhibition are active in banking and finance, technology transfer and the construction of large factories, silos, ports, piers, oil tanks and other industries such as shipbuilding, steel and cement.
