As you may already have been informed, the President of the United States has recently threatened Iran in a tweet: “targeted 52 Iranian sites, some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD.” Although, this is obviously against International resolutions and UNESCO conventions, the tweet and the president’s insisting on it in his next tweets has raised a worldwide concern and anxiety.
This kind of statements will inevitably have disastrous effects on human culture and cultural heritage, therefore taking proper and effective steps by all the responsible people and organizations in this regard is necessary.
